Cookie policy

NextMUN uses only the small number of cookies needed to keep the service secure and remember essential browser state. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

In effect from 9 September 2026

1. Cookies we use

nm_session: an essential, encrypted-by-reference sign-in session cookie. It expires and can be revoked.
nm_pending: a short-lived signed cookie that keeps an unverified sign-up tied to the browser that started it.
nm_splash: a session cookie that remembers whether the introductory splash has been shown.
nm_referral: a short-lived cookie that attributes a conference referral when you follow a referral link.

These cookies are used to provide a service you requested, prevent abuse, or keep the site usable. They are not used to follow you across other sites.

2. Consent and control

Because the cookies listed here are strictly necessary, the site does not set optional cookies and does not ask for consent for a non-existent analytics or advertising layer. If we add optional tracking or marketing cookies, we will block them until you make a clear choice and update this page.

You can delete cookies in your browser settings. Removing essential cookies may sign you out or prevent some flows from working.

3. Third-party content

Conference organisers may link to external forms or websites. Those sites may set their own cookies under their own policies. Review their notice before submitting information there.
