What you take on when you run a conference through NextMUN, and what gets a listing pulled.
In effect from 9 September 2026
An organiser runs one conference at a time. Finish or cancel the one you have before starting another.
The rule is enforced against the owner of a conference, not against everyone helping to run one. You can sit on somebody else's Executive Board while running nothing yourself.
A new conference is a private draft. Nothing is public until you submit it and a platform administrator approves it.
Before you can submit, you need the key information filled in, a location, at least one committee, an Executive Board that either exists or is being recruited, and both verification documents approved.
We check that this paperwork exists and matches what you have listed. That is a sanity check, not an endorsement, and it does not make us responsible for your event.
Conferences are free unless you switch fees on. If you do, this is the clause you accept before you can connect a payment account.
By organizing a MUN through NextMUN, you agree that you are solely responsible for all funds, payments, and refunds relating to your event. NextMUN and Saad Alarifi act only as a listing and registration platform, hold no funds on your behalf, and accept no liability for your event or its finances.
Applicants are charged only after you accept them, never for applying.
You decide who holds which permissions on your conference. Roles are yours to create, rename, reassign and delete.
You are answerable for what your team does with the access you give them, including how they handle applicants' personal data.
Advertise what you can deliver. If dates, venue, committees or fees change, update the listing and tell the people who already applied.
Decide applications on their merit, within the window you published. Do not collect fees for places you do not have.
If you cancel, tell everyone promptly and refund everyone who paid.
Conferences that do not exist, take money and go quiet, misrepresent their venue or licensing, harvest applicant data for other purposes, or leave applicants unable to reach anybody.
We may suspend an organiser and issue strikes against their organisation. Removal settles nothing financial between you and your applicants.
