Refund policy

NextMUN never holds your money, so NextMUN cannot refund it. Every refund comes from the organiser you paid.

In effect from 9 September 2026

1. Where your money went

When you pay a conference fee, the payment goes from your card straight into that organiser's own Moyasar merchant account and settles to their own bank. It does not pass through NextMUN at any point.

By organizing a MUN through NextMUN, you agree that you are solely responsible for all funds, payments, and refunds relating to your event. NextMUN and Saad Alarifi act only as a listing and registration platform, hold no funds on your behalf, and accept no liability for your event or its finances.

2. Who to ask

Ask the organiser, using the contact address on the conference page or the messages tab in your dashboard. They set their own refund policy and it is published on their conference page.

Every conference states whether it offers no refunds or considers them case by case. Read it before you pay.

3. If a conference is cancelled

The organiser is responsible for refunding everyone who paid, whether or not they have already spent the money. NextMUN will mark the conference cancelled and notify applicants, but cannot move funds.

4. If an organiser will not respond

Report them. We investigate, and we can remove the listing, suspend the organiser and record strikes against their organisation, which protects other applicants from the same thing.

What we can do: act on the listing and the account, and give you what we hold about your payment record.
What we cannot do: reverse a charge, compel a refund, or pay you ourselves.

Your card issuer's chargeback process remains available to you. That is between you, your bank and the organiser.
